Didem Kaya Bayram
After completing her high school education at Robert College, Didem Kaya-Bayram pursued her undergraduate studies at Yale University in the United States. At Yale, she focused on the history of white supremacy within the Department of American Studies.
Upon returning to Türkiye, she earned a master’s degree from Istanbul Technical University in the Department of Science, Technology, and Society Studies, with a thesis exploring race-based epistemological struggles in 20th-century American medical history.
Kaya-Bayram began her professional career at TRT World and later served as the Director of Digital Content and Strategy at TRT 2.
Currently, she is pursuing a PhD at Northwestern University, where her research focuses on whiteness, European colonialism, and secularism in the 19th century.
Didem Kaya-Bayram is married and the mother of one child.
